Classroom Expectations for Physical Education

Expectations:

1. All students must wear NON-MARKING Sneakers

2. Students will show respect to teacher, classmates, and themselves.

3. No gum chewing, no food or drink is allowed in class.

4. Any injuries must be reported to teacher during class period so proper action can be taken.

5. NO student may leave the class without permission.

6. Don't use equipment without permission from teacher. Students will pay for cost of replacement if equipment is not properly used.

7. Be prepared to go outside or inside depending upon the weather.

Parents and Students:

Welcome back to a new School Year at Providence Creek Academy. I am very excited to see familiar and new faces. I should know everybody's name by the end of this month.

My shedule is different from previous years. This will be my sixth year at Providence Creek Academy and it feels like I graduated from West Chester University not to0 long ago. I am just getting old! LOL

I will be teaching Physical Education for Kindergarten through 6th Grade this year! I am sad to lose 7th and 8th Grade Teambuilding class because it was alot of fun. I truly enjoyed how creative students can be in solving a physical or mental challenge and work as a team. I lose my teambuilding class but I gain teaching Health for 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade this year.

The first week of class we will be going over rules and the usage of the gym and bathrooms. We will also refresh them with some tag games that we will be using throughout the year as our warm-ups before we start our core lesson.

I am ready for this school year to begin. Let's Have A Great Year!!!
